Many thanks to all who provided suggestions and guidance!

Shipping date was listed as April 2nd, but it has already left HK and arrived in CA.

    Specs:
    9300 Penryn
    3GB RAM
    Vista Bidness
    15.4 Widescreen
    WSXGA (LG, whew)
    Keyboard (NMB)
    Fingerprint scanner
    DVD writer
    4965 AGN
    Express card
    BT
    9 cell
3 yr Protection Warranty (I'm clumsy)
    $1710

Can't wait! I wasn't going to get the extra RAM through Lenovo, but their prices weren't too bad.

I'll post feedback on the screen brightness, since that seems to be a common concern in the forum... but considering my current laptop, a Toshiba Satellite, is 8 + years old, the bar is set pretty low.

You should be smiling at your local Starbucks in a few days.

    Congrats and enjoy!

Thanks... I like the fact that despite its respectable exterior, it has the heart of a gaming notebook.

Congrats! I got almost exactly the same specs (2GB instead of 4, will upgrade by myself); mine is expected for the second week of April. Can't wait! :)

Hopefully you'll experience a far quicker shipping timetable like I did... It seems like Lenovo is overly conservative about shipping dates. I can't believe how quickly it got to the US from Hong Kong, I guess the Concorde is still flying.
