    Hi,

I have a T61p running Vista 32bit with NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M graphics. I bought it because I hoped that it would be an adequate replacement for my T60, which works well in the Advanced dock and supports two external monitors (DVI, 1600x1200 and VGA, 1400x1050), but does not run with Aqua at that resolution. Now, with the T61p I cannot select a resolution higher than 1360x768 on the VGA output. I tried installing the Forceware drivers, but that did not help. Reducing the DVI resolution does not change the maximum allowed on the VGA port either.

Is there a hardware related reason for that, or is it "just" a driver problem? Is there any hope that I can get this cured? Does someone reading this have any success with putting a PCIe graphics card into the advanced dock and run external monitors from that? Including undocking and suspend? With a T61p and NVIDIA graphics?

    Thanks for any pointers!
    Hans
