    Hello,

I am interested in upgrading my main hard disk. It is currently the standard 80GB drive. I recall that some laptops have a maximum capacity they can handle and I was curious if the T61P (4:3 version) has an upper limit for the capacity of the hard drives it accepts.

If not I may go for the 500Gb 2.5" Scorpio.

    Thanks.

A 32 bit OS should be able up to a 2TB drive. Right now the max is 500GB for 5400RPM drive and 320GB for a 7200RPM drives though some bigger drives will be here shortly.
