Ok so I over looked the importance of DVI when I got my Thinkpad so I finally paid up for the Advance Mini Dock to get DVI. Problem is that I cannot get it to properly display 1080p (1920x1080). What I end up with is a black border all around the image and it doesn't look as crisp as it should. The monitor/tv I am using is a Westinghouse 37w3. First I thought it was the Westy but I also tried it on a Sharp 46D64U and had the same problem. On a 24" 1920x1200 display it works fine. My Desktop PC has no problems doing 1080p on the Westy or Sharp TV.

Any ideas? My specs are in my sig.

Update problem fixed. I reinstalled the Nvidia video drivers from Lenovo's site vs the auto update ones from Windows Update.

Glad you figured it out. I play 1080i/p content from my Lenovo to my big screen all the time and it's great!
