    T61p : Brightness is always low after WIN7 startup

    Hey guys,

    Here's my problem : every time I start my Thinkpad, my screen's brightness is very low, like half the bar... And the problem persists whatever mode i am (Performance, Power source optimized, Video playback...). I've passed a lot of time in the Power Manager (advanced mode) and set the Display Brightness of all Power Plans to the maximum, but it still is dark when i (re)start my PC Fortunately, the Fn controller works, so I can set it to maximum. But i would like it to be at maximum on startup...

    Do you have any idea on how to solve this ??

    Try the new drivers. Sure your dont have it on max bat?
