Can anyone recommend a good Auto/Air adapter ? I have looked at the Targus and the Kensington adapters and none seem to work.

Currently they are not available on Lenovo's site... not sure if they will be in the future either but you can get the same one at Newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=34-995-035 or you can get a universal one from iGo (you have to order a special tip from them for the Lenovo)

So ... is anyone using one of these ? Also isn't the tip different on a T61 vs T60 ? And does it have to be a 90W adapter ? ( Because I have a 70W Targus one for my HP laptop and thought I could just get a new tip )

Are you going to be using your laptop in the car? If you are, then just get a power inverter and plug it into your cigarette lighter. Around a 100 watts should do the trick.

This is what I do. It works great. And, it's a lot cheaper than buying the manufacturer adapter.
