    Did your T61p come with a plastic insert to protect the multi card reader slot?


    Mine didn't.

    Seems like it should have one.

    I don't have a plastic insert but there's a cover already there.

    Mine doesn't have a cover.

    I'm talking about the SD/combo slot in front of the mouse pad.

    No insert, I even tried with an insert from another computer, and It nearly break the card reader.

    I inserted an old 256MB SD card in it and plan to just leave it there. Should help keep the dust out.
