    Hello everyone!

Hope your weekend is going well. Quick question about T61p power usage while on battery. My rig usually draws around 22 watts per hour as read from the Lenovo power manager. This is with everything on power saving, lowest screen brightness, wireless on and general internet surfing and note taking in class.

Just curious what some other T61p owners are getting on battery. I am running windows vista 64-bit and the rest of my specs are in my sig. Superfetch & indexing are disabled and I am running 60 processes after a clean restart. I am not really complaining, I am just trying to squeeze out a little more time out of my battery. Any ideas on how to extend it???
Current capacity after 7 months is still at 84wHr.

    Cheers,

    Josh

That is probably about right for the 61p. The Quadro graphics card draws a ton of power and the older centrino chipset isn't as energy efficient as the centrino 2.
