    Looking for a well made "aftermarket" battery for my T61p.

    Stock battery is done after a year.

    Looking at an Amstron:

    That 60% just means it's a 9 cell. They are comparing it to 6 cell batteries. I doubt it would work any better than a Lenovo branded 9 cell.

    I have had good luck with replacement ThinkPad batteries from CalCellular in the past. They have a 9 cell for the R60/T60 for $79.99. This should also fit the T61, although possibly not the widescreen variant. Be sure to double check the part number (FRU) before you order a replacement.
