It seems that I have managed to pop out the release tab to the side bay on my T61p. I can see the two rails, if you will, that it is supposed to be in when sliding in and out to remove a drive.

(this is just a picture of the side of a T61p I found online, I can get pictures of mine when I go to lunch today.)

It was pulled up while there was no drive in the slot. So now I'm not sure if it even will recognize the drive when I put it in the click this tab back into spot, which is barely going straight in, because it's dislodged.

I was wondering if this ever happened to anyone else and if I should just take it apart myself to put the tab back into the proper spot.

    I have taken more pictures.
I think I can access it by taking off the keyboard so I'll try that whenever today and let everyone know how it went...

Ok Ill re-size them later I was just being lazy, I already have it apart I think I can figure it out

I edited your post due to the EXTREMELY large images in it. Next time, please re-size them.
