This is what I have been able to find out about the t61p WUXGA screen so far. I would welcome any additional information regarding this screen, ie. who makes it and how these stats compare to other screens. Note despite the rumors, the consensus is that this is not, and there are not any WUXGA Flexview screens being offered with the T61p. No word on LED screens yet that I have seen.

    15.4" (391mm) WUXGA (1920x1200) color, 175 nits, 16:10 aspect ratio, 500:1 contrast ratio, anti-glare.

While that contrast ratio is pretty high, isn't the brightness kinda DIM?!

Yeah, but that's normal for thinkpads :/

The 4:3 14" is 150 nits. And the brightest they go is 200 nits for the WXGA+ and WSXGA+ models.

    175nits and 500:1 contrast?

How would this screen be for viewing text (assuming that I have adjust the DPI setting on Vista to make the text a reasonable size).
