My bottleneck seems to be the RAM as well. When I had 2GB stock RAM, it was 4.8, and when I upgraded to 3GB, it remained the same. What do I have to do to raise the RAM score?

I'm a little leary of some of the scores too.

I have an absolutely maxed out T61p.

It has Vista 64 Sp1, 4 gigs of Lenovo memory, a 2.6 ghz processor and a 200 gb 7200 rpm disk and quadro graphics. There really isn't any more you can put on a T61p to make it perform better. Like others my RAM is the slowest, the graphics were really excellent. So how does someone get a higher score than with a maxed out machine?

Its been stated numerous times on these forums and across the internet. The WEI score given by Windows Vista is not only inaccurate, its just plain useless.

My RAM is the lowest at 5.1. It doesn't matter how much RAM I have it's always 5.1.

    All my other scores are:
    Processor: 5.4
    Graphics: 5.9
    Gaming: 5.4
    Hard Disk: 5.3

One time I got 5.2 overall.

My desktop is a Conroe Extreme with 4 gigs (Kingston hyper-ex) running Vista 32, terrific graphics and 15k rpm server disks.

It gets a 5.7 on the Vista scale with memory and the processor being the bottle neck.

My t61p gets a 5.1. I am really dubious of any T61p score higher than 5.1.

My WEI is 5.0 w/ the bottleneck being RAM. Everything is stock except an added 2GB stick of Crucial PC2-5300. I've also yet to do a clean install and have Windows Vista Home Premium as my OS.

I have 3.5 on my x61s, my bottleneck is the graphics. How hard is it to remedy this? I do not have the Nvidia upgrade.

You can't remedy it. You have the integrated Intel video card so it's expected to produce a low graphics score. The only way to boost that score is if you find better drivers.
