    Hello,

Just made a purchase on a wonderfull T61p with 4GB of ram. Oringinally I had 32bit XP inside but it didnt register the full 4GB of ram.

So I decided to do a clean install of XP 64 bit

Unfortunately, I cannot find drivers for my sound card, my display and a host of other things.

I tried google and to no avail i could not locate anything. Should I go back to 32bit xp or go up to vista.(im leaning towards going back to xp).

Let me know what you guys think and if you can help me locate some drivers that will be great (I also search the Lenovo website and found many drivers there, but most of them don't work on 64 bit architecture)

    Tanks

If you want a 64-bit OS, Vista is recommended as hehe above stated. If you want XP then the 32-bit version of XP is the only way to go.

I have the option to install one or the other.

I'm primarily a gamer/power user. I have heard horror stories involving Vista, so i'm a bit concerned about installing it.

so the 2 options will be : Windows vista 64 business or XP SP2
