I've experienced two times such weird thing. When I woke up my laptop from sleep, the laptop was making continuous error beeping in every one second. The sound was come from the laptop, not from Windows.

Even if I closed the lid, the beep sound still was going on. Only after completely shut down, the beep sound was gone.

Do you have any idea this beep sound? It seems that my laptop tried to let me know "I have a problem!"...

There is a setting which if checked, laptop beeps until shut down. (short beeps then one long beep right before shutdown. It is a checkbox, I believe in power manager somewhere, I can't look on mine I 'm doing a memory scan...good luck
