Man, after all that speculation, the T61p is finally out. F570M card. Any chance there'll be a 14" version?

Where do you go to see it? I'm looking at the lenovo site but not seeing the T61p.

    Ahh, duh, thanks.

Just to clarify, WUXGA = 1900x1200? Isn't that a bit much on a 15.4" display?

IMO, yeah it's too much. I would order right this second if the WSXGA+ was available.

I'm wondering if there are any chances for a built-in camera.... I figured that is going to come standard on laptops pretty soon... oh well.

Can you? At least when I filled out the configuration, it didn't seem to give any options for the screen.

A lot more $$$ for the T61p laptop with similar configuration to my T61, no camera, bigger screen and more expensive warranty. Is it really worth it, the extra money? Only as a desktop replacement I think.

He's talking about going through windows display properties to adjust the resolution. This can be done but at a loss of quality. I heard it is better on Vista, but everything always looks best when the display is set to its native resolution.

Well, camera is really a gimmick and probably is only worth ~$20-50 in the configurator.

The higher res and better GPU would account for a lot of the price. Probably worth it if you need the better GPU and the res - since those are options not easily found elsewhere (only 2 laptops so far have or will have the FX 570M, and for SR laptops, only high-end business workstations have WUXGA on 15.4").
