    Hello all,

I recently noticed that my T61p seemingly random can go into sleep-mode during high loads, playing large .mkv-files HalfLife2 etc.

No warning of system temperture or such is noted on beforehand, neither does the fan speed up extra prior to this happening, I am however somewhat convinced that it is temperture or -load related given the taiming at wiich the phenomenon occurs, anyone heard anything about this before?

    Regards

Well your laptop could be shutting down because of high temperatures. Although it is pretty strange that your fan doesn't seem to speed up. Do you have a temperature monitoring program so you can check how hot your laptop is getting?
