    Hey all,

Recently, I noticed a slight jump in the temperature of my T61p (it does have the nVidia card that has been recalled by several manufacturers). I was wondering if these temperatures are around what everyone experiences:

    GPU: 63 deg C
CPU: 45 deg C (avg for both cores)
    HDD: 33 deg C

This is with an ambient temperature of around 70 degrees F. The laptop temperatures recorded were when my laptop has been sitting idle for around 20 minutes. Is this considered normal? Thanks!

My CPU and GPU idle around 55 C, so I think you're fine.

Nothing wrong with your machine, I agree I have the same processor as yours and TPFancontrol reports a temp of 48-50C (fan triggered at 50C)
