Just acquired a new T61p (6457-5GG). Two problems I've hit so far:

Turbo Memory does not work. It is there to see in Device Manager but "problem with loading driver (Code: 10)". The TM console shows a cache of 0Gb and both ReadyDrive and ReadyBoost options greyed out. Reinstalled drivers to no avail. Lenovo help guy doesn't even know what Turbo Memory is! Is there a BIOS or Windows option I haven't seen?

When I close the lid to go into standby mode I get an unearthly squeal from the speakers. Sounds like a feedback loop. Tried disabling the microphone but no change. Intermittent but happens more often than not.

Any ideas on how to sort the above greatly appreciated

    Many thanks
