How do I start a clean install of Windows 7 (from MSDN) to my T61p? I am currently running a Lenovo installed 32-bit version of Vista. I have run and want to run 64 bit Windows 7.

You'll need a Windows 7 disc.

I know that and I have the 64bit disk. I'm wondering how I'll boot it. No trouble with the desktop and a more complex bios by the same manufacturer but I haven't known for sure that I have a bootable dvd yet, so I thought I'd ask.
Will start to to work on full problem as soon as a friend drops a disk over. Actually this is my way of filling several unknowns at once.

The Windows 7 disc I have is bootable. Just hit F12 at boot and it should give you the boot options, one of which should be the optical drive.

Check out this forum also if you have not yet done so. In the first post you will find links to Windows 7 drivers you will need, and there is a discussion about Windows 7 drivers towards the end as well.
