I was wondering, is lenovo going to release a 14" widescreen display option for T61p, since the T61 already has a display like this and will this display come with a web camera just like the T61 version.

I had thought they did have it, but took the option off because of supply constraints. I could be wrong though.

If this is the case, I'm positive it will be back as soon as things start looking more positive for stocking the part.

Lenovo has not ever had a 14" widescreen t61p. They have had the 15" and a 14" 4:3 aspect ratio. As for the future, i wouldn't be surprised if they did release one. But given the shortage of parts and the backlog for the current t61p's it could be a long while before it happens.

Don't bother with Lenovo. Chances are you will never get the machine anyway. It's a complete waste of time.

    Find something else.

There's a shortage of parts right now and everyone not just Lenovo is having trouble getting them out the door.
