    Hi all,

My t61p came with a cdrw/dvdrom drive. I want to replace it with a dvdrw. I have found these two drives:
    -- Samsung SN-S082H/BEBN 8X Slim Internal DVD-Writer
    and,
-- LG GSA-T20N Black 8X Slim DVD+-RW Dual Layer DVD Writer

I am wondering if any of these drive will fit in the slim slot?
    Please, advice.
    Thank you.

The T series drives are slimmer than most other notebook drives. Most like the ones you listed are too big to fit in the drive bay. You can buy one from from Lenovo which will be expensive. I'd also suggest looking on eBay if you want to save a few bucks.
