Yes as long as it is a 667mhz bus merom processor you should be good.

Thanks for the useful info, or will this model w/667MHZ work fine. Are there different grades of these T7600's available?. I noticed a G model on ebay.

    Thanks

It looks like all T7600's have a 667MHZ bus. I was speaking in general though. Any Core 2 Duo mobile with a 667MHZ bus should work.

    Max Geek,

I am semi-new to this forum, How do you display your T61 configuration information @ the bottom of your replies, is this a cut & paste thing or is there a way to set this up in the account section?

    Hello,

    My T60P says max 3 GB memory, should I max both sockets w/ 2GB cards or 1GB/ 1 socket & 2Gb/ 1 socket.

    Thanks

1 + 2 gig setup is just fine.

Edit: I thought the T60P supported 4GB, but maybe not...

    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-62722

Supports up to 4GB maximum memory
Note: Only 64-bit operating systems support more than 3GB of system memory (RAM). Intel Chipsets 945GM and 945PM do not support more than 3GB system memory (RAM), even when a 64-bit operating system is installed.

Not 100% sure, but I would think 2x2GB would support dual channel vs 1GB + 2Gb. Not that it makes a big difference.
