    THinkpad T22 Locks up AC Battery Ok

    I have an old warhorse of a T22 that I really like. It has recently started locking up when its on AC power. It will sound 3 or 4 beeps and lock up hard.
    Using the battery it seems to work fine and the AC will charge the battery when its off. But when you plug the AC in it will lockup hard in about two minutes.
    I've used the IBM checks and the hard disk is fine . Cleaned reformatted and re-installed windows and programs.

    It ran for days on the Hardrive sector check. But when you are in windows it locks up on the AC

    Anybody got a clue??
