I have a "vintage" tp a20m 2628-2du. A few weeks ago my wife dropped it,[ :(!] forcing the WiFi card in the PCMCIA slot into the body, and effectively killing the PCMCIA slots. Now there are many miles on this machine, and i am loathe to waste money on a new unit. This one still works,[ :D] except for the pcmcia slots. I have researched the issue, and it appears that there is a MoBo/CPU combo for the a20 that ran a PIII 800 mHz, with 16 mB video ram onboard.[ :p] I want to upgrade as high as i can, and as cheaply as possible. Any input/assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!![8D]
