I installed Windows7 (X64) on my TP X200. I have power managet V2.43. It always shows battery indicator at 99% or 98%. Why its not showing 100% as I use to see with Vista.

I completely drained the battery few times ,by just running the Laptop on battery , still battery indicator is at 99% or 98%. Is this normal or something wrong with battery or power indicator?

    check your battery maintenance settings

99% is what mine shows since it won't charge until less than 30% and regular discharge is nomal

Typical Power Manager settings is it charges the battery at 96% and stops at fully charged.
You suddenly go to 99% or 98% when you disconnect the power outlet or when you reconnect it and power up the machine too quickly, this is normal.
It's not advisable to leave your battery fully charged if you not intend to use it. Ideally you should have it set at 30-50% I u use only power from the brick.

Mostly I don't use my battery as I am always closer to AC outlet. What should my battery settings should be to get best out of battery. If you can suggest the settings that would really help.
