This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    decided to use TPFanControl this time, and boosted that fan to 4500rpm and .. nice GPU temperature drop of 15 deg C :D

    not that I have had probolems before though... While gaming, the GPU goes as high as 85-87 deg C, and I've played like this for 4 hours non-stop. But with fan running at max, GPU maxed out at 70 deg C this time, so good stuff

    it does get more noisy though

    P.S. I have RMClock as well, but don't use it. The GPU is overclocked at 600/900 core/memory
