How reliable is the data in the tabook? I got the impression that it is basically the source of all truth regarding the specifications for ThinkPads. I see the X301 shown with an 80GB SSD, but that's not offered on the Lenovo configuration screen. If it is correct and that is available on some Top Seller models at resellers, does anyone know what kind of drive that might be? Better or worse than the 64GB/128GB drives?

I believe a couple users got an 80gig ssd on these forums. Try searching and there might be a part number (I don't recall the specifics off the top of my head).

Does that mean both are prone to errors, and tabook is just the more accurate of the two?

The reason I ask is I've been browsing various online resellers, and I'd like to know I have a resource that will let me know exactly what I'm looking at buying.

Historically, tabook is not prone to errors, however since humans are involved in producing it, it's not infallible. In a contest with the web site, well, there's no contest.

Yeah, from what I've experienced with the website, I assumed that much. ;)

    Thanks.

The Tabook is generally reliable, but it does have errors.

For example. The Tabook clearly lists the x200 Tablet as having a ThinkLight. It most certainly DOES NOT (this is due to the rotating screen design).

Best guess is that the 80GB SSD is the Intel x-25M as it is one of the few 80GB SSDs offered (you can also configure it from Lenovo). This is generally considered to be the best SSD presently available (although the 64GB Samsung SLC drive [x300 original] also receives high mark).
