There is nothing technical about this post, but since I have been enjoying my ThinkPad (despite the still moving palmrest at the right edge), I was thinking: how would I present ThinkPads to an audience...

    So, here is a tagline...

"...life is short, why waste time on an inferior product..."

(Disclaimer: This is me paraphrasing what is reputed to be a line from a Bond book, which came to my attention while reading an article on the literary merits (or otherwise) of Fleming's works.)

What taglines can you folks come up with to best describe ThinkPads (despite all the niggles and troubles that you ThinkPad addicts experience)?

Mods: Sorry, but I could not resist! If deemed inappropriate, please remove and accept my apologies.

Yeah...I've seen those...not very inspiring, which is not to say that the line (from the Bond book) is inspiring either!

Maybe the Mods should obliterate this thread...bad idea perhaps!

Lenovo ThinkPad. Our BIOS knows virtualization. Now available in both Edge and Classic physical realities.

For the "Edge" line of machines (pseudo ThinkPads, as some claim), the tagline could read:

    "Your Edge over the competition"

95:1 contrast ratio: because seeing what is displayed on-screen is highly overrated.

Joking aside, I think Lenovo should put together a short video clip consisting of various Yamato Lab torture tests, and end the video clip with this statement - ThinkPads: Built to Last.

Or, they could end the video with the statement:"...Thinking is not interrupted..."

Of course, this assumes that the machines come out of the torture tests in a functional state!
