I finally got my X201 yesterday.

I've asked a slew of questions since the summer before buying this model.

Thanks to everyone that was helpful and provided system information/advice for my purchase. :p

alland, congrats and very nice machine you got there! Looks almost like my X200, except you got a yellow USB next to the wireless internet switch  . Also is that no webcam I see?

the yellow marked USB port is the powered one that debuted with the arrandale platform across the thinkpad product line.

Destroy the energy star sticker! I like the classic no-trackpad config. Nice.

    Really nice!

How hard is it getting used to the smaller screen compared to your T60p?

@drake: It's actually not so bad moving from the T60p to the X201.
Doing analyses my laptop is connected to a monitor with external keyboard and mouse. In a meeting today it was better. Spatially, the keyboard feels almost identical to my hands and my typing rate isn't any worse (subjective, not quantified).

@NeeGo. The yellow usb port is the charging usb port as Maa83 describes. With respect to the camera. I have an external camera. I didn't really feel like spending more for it. Also my spouse has one on her T400s. I wasn't all that impressed with it.
