as stated on fw site, coupons not listed or access to a non fw linked portion of the lenovo site will not get you the discount.
on top of that, there have been better deals in the past, especially without the fw 6% discount that you will never receive.
Post great deals only after you have personally tried them, rather than propose em without knowing if they work.

I have personally tried this and it does work

To get FW cash...it's simple..you click on the lenovo portal via FW...go to the lenovo search box, type in CPP, and just click on it and you are still in direct access with the FW linkage...I have done this with with EPP, as well as, many others. In fact..I just got my FW cash yesterday transferred to my paypal account

What better deals in the past? name one coupon that exceeded greater than 25% off? and that coupon was for standard prices. This discount is on top of the discounts currently offered for xmas

I tried to get into the contractor program by typing in CPP in the lenovo search box but it doesn't show me any link to the CPP site.

 

What an annoying post - sheesh. Why not list deals if you think they're noteworthy? Watchtower7 - if you know of better discounts, why don't you list them yourself?

 

you are right...for some reason it is now showing up anymore...perhaps they got rid of the links..they still show EPP, SPP through search...I will go ahead and delete this thread

eyecon82: So you got your cashback using EPP? On the FW website it says that you can't use cashback with EPP, CPP, etc. I might reorder a T61 instead.

 

they are saying that it doesn't work if you directly access www.lenov.com/epp or cpp

If you link it through properly, it will work..click the FW link...put EPP, or whatever in the search field, click on that link and just go through with the linkage and you will be fine

To get Fatwallet Cash to work just follow these steps to get around not finding a link to CPP from main site:

1. Search for "EPP" from Lenovo site
2. Click on the second search result to goto the EPP site (address starts with shoplenovo.i2.com)
3. Without typing anything in for Employee serial number, just click "Sign In"
4. Click they hyperlinked text part way down the screen that says "check out some possible reasons and alternatives"
5. Half way down that next page you will find this line with a link: "For Lenovo contractors, please visit the Lenovo contractor site at www.Lenovo.com/cpp"
6. Click the link and ENJOY!

 

i got my cash back with epp too, i also later price matched it to the coupon price so they took 3.5% of the original price

 

I ordered, got cash back. This, in spite of calling to cancel my order by putting in a call to the warehouse!
I didn't do it on purpose. I wouldn't recommend trying it.
