I'll haveto be honest I'm struggling. I have a brain injury. I remember old stuff easily. I dont remember some of the new stuff. I'm a computer engneer by profession. I need a finding what I don't know and finding what I do know.
I remember what seems like most of it all.
Right now I'm trying to get some coomand line stuff down. I used to be a VMS engineer and I used a command line processor called MCR. The thing is I learned Windows V3.5 about the time VMS version 5.5 was was coming so I use commands like VMS did.

For what it's worth.
I'm sorry about your injury -
erwalle,
Thank you. Be careful. The next one may be you... I may be out of the hospital relatively soon
Now I show my ignorance, what do you call the command line intpreter?
Renee -
Cmd dummy.....

Oh, the name of the command is actually CMD. I was calling myself 'a dummy'....but I did know the name of the command was CMD.
Renee -
ahh, well, I hope you're feeling better.

I was hit by a car driven by an illegal alien. I'll never 'feel better' about that or about having a year of my life stolen from me and a number of other things.

PS - It's not your fault, Jerry.
