Oh man. I hate to say it, but you are WAY overpowering that machine. If you have money to blow, go ahead. But I can tell you that you don't need the 2.4Ghz processor, 4gigs of ram and the WUXGA is pushing it. You would do better to lower the ram and processor and get a better harddrive (maybe 7k200)

Must be a 4:3 screen, otherwise it’s the T60p for me.
Either 2.0 or 2.4 GHz, probably the 2.0 though.
    7200 RPM HDD
1GB from Lenovo then replace with 4GB of 800MHz once released.
    Intel Turbo Memory
    Vista Business or Ultimate
1 year Depot plan or whatever is cheapest.
Will go with the battery that is flush so if it’s the 4 cell then so be it, course I’ll stack it with the ultra bay battery.

    2) About a month and it’s torture.
    3. Travel, class, but I play WC3 on desktop.

As I understand it, the Santa Rosa chip set doesn't support RAM clocked at 800 MHz. Apparently it immediately clocks it down to 667 MHz.

Here is the thread that confirms the above.

As for myself, i'm waiting for a T61p, but not sure if i'm even going to take the plunge on it when it comes out...
