    Again, from a Chinese website.

    http://www.51nb.com/viewnews-34314

The highlights (fonts in read color) read as follows.
    1. Slightly lighter than X61.
    2. The colored stripes on mouse buttons are back.
    3. Integrated Webcam.
    4. Antenna on the top of the screen (like T61).
    5. (I didn't quite get it, something has to do with Antenna on the right of the palmrest??)
    6. Due to time limit, no photo to show the ports on both sides of the laptop.

I don't like the thick screen bezel.

Sure looks like the real thing. I'll tolerate the ugly bezel if it gets us a nicer (brighter, higher resolution) screen than the X61 has. Cant' wait for more details. My T60 feels heavier every day :-D

Oh, and thanks for the post!

Good find, cawang! You're always on top of these things. ;) Thank you.

I'd like to see how much lighter the X200. Also, with that thicker screen bezel, it makes it look as if they're going back in time...

Other than that, the computer looks nice; I like how the colored accents have come back, possibly indicating that the next generation of ThinkPads will have that too. :D

How soon will this come out? Should I get an X61 now or wait? Decision decision decision.

Is this based off of the kodaichi model that was rumored earlier? I see it has metal hinges. I like!

Can't wait for the T series revision.

I'd say rush and get the current model because I think there is a probability that the quality of the next Thinkpad will decline further as they have under Lenovo. This is not your father's rock-solid reliable IBM Thinkpad :(

Thanks everyone. I just ordered the X61. Hope it will arrive soon.

The strange part is the model I ordered is no longer available on Lenovo Canada website.

I am glad I got my X61 before Xmas when there was a huge promotion. The new X200 looks a little bit ugly, especially the LCD bezel.

Hmm. The picture in the second link shows nothing but the power plug at the back of the notebook, while the other pictures indicate that there is a VGA port, a wireless on/off switch, and the RJ45/RJ11 ports.

Unless I'm seeing things (it's 3am, I just finished homework)

On a side note, I wonder how big the battery is. And what's the notebook in the second picture here? I originally thought it was the X200 but the hinges are larger and it's a bit thicker.

The first picture sure does look fake!

It should be coming out soon, coinciding with the Penryn launch.

In this rumored stage, everything could be fake or true. But it's a sure thing that it's going to release soon.

I don't have any source. I am just used to monitoring a few Chinese sites/forums and I will forward anything I find to this forum. That's the best I can do.

The guy who posted those two pictures (see my post above) said it's not X200. Lenovo will name it X70. Personally, I trusted this guy because it seems that he actualy works in the OEM plant.

So probably the name X200 and the associating pictures are all fake.
