I noticed that there aren't any threads of the T400/T500 pictures. So here! I will make one. I am also ordering a T400 by end of this week and would like to see all of your guys T series. It will be my 2nd thinkpad and hope to use it for a while (previously had a T41 and it was awesome).

Please put them here because I am in the hospital and this place runs the net through it. Most places are filtered to allow only the first level.

What Renee means is that whoever wants to post the pictures should use the attachment functionality included in Notebookreview forum, and do not use any outside image hosting sites, like imageshack.us, because the net filter in the hospital will block the sites.
I hope you don't write how-to-do instructions, Renee, otherwise people are going to be really confused by what you write. :p

    Hello,
I've got 2 pictures for your viewing pleasure :p

The T400 on the right is mine, the R400 on the left is my girlfriend's (yes, it was a gift from me... ).

I also tried to take a close-up photo of the screens so that you could compare the LED screen on the T400 to the non-LED on the R400.

I cropped the photos a bit, but they are still quite large, so modem users beware!

I don't understand why would they block imageshack, but I know a lot of schools and the likes block them I just don't understand much why. Cool pics btw.

Nice! Thanks. Is your T400 the WXGA+ LED? I really hope Lenovo Canada puts the + with LED back on for sale.

Also, what country are you in? The keyboard layout for the "enter" key seems to look different than what I have seen in reviews etc.

Yes, it's WXGA+ LED. I must say I really like the display, it's so much brighter and I don't even have any problems reading it outside.
If I may, I suggest you wait for the LED screen option to return as it really is worth it.

I'm from the Czech Republic, so this is a standard czech keyboard. ;) BTW I was lucky enough to receive the T400 with a "newer" version of the keyboard, so there was no flex and I'm a happy camper. :D

Not to be a kill joy, but ThinkPads aren't exactly Ferraris that have impressive curves from every angle you look at them. I think if you look at the reviews on this site, along with video, you'll have more than enough glamour shots of the T400 and T500:
