I'm giving up on this machine. I've had it since november and since the first day I've been trying to get hold of an extra charger and charger cable. I've tried Lenovo, Lenovo FB and their service partner in Sweden without luck. I did manage to get hold of a charger but without cable. There is just no way to get the cable.
I'm at loss hos a premium line product at the top 3 manufacturer can release a product line without having a plan on spares. The lack of support and commitment to one simple thing, spare charger and cable makes me wonder how any experiance would be when I actually have an issue with the computer...

I picked up a Yoga 3 Pro for $619. Suprisingly it had the Core M-5Y71 instead of the Core M-5Y70.

    From AnandTech.com:
"When Lenovo first launched the Yoga 3 Pro, it was offered with the Core M-5Y70 processor. Lenovo has provided us with their refreshed model, which dumps the original Core M for the Core M-5Y71 which was recently released by Intel. This new processor bumps up the performance, and gains an additional 100 MHz base clock, and 300 MHz boost, with the 5Y71 now boosting to 2.9 GHz. It is a decent increase, and it is done in the same 4.5 watt window."

Wondering if I should return my open box to best buy and see if they'll swap it with one with the updated processor.

My only real beef is the SD Card slot. Why, on a premium device, does it not sit flush. I remember their old netbook that had this half out card slot, and it was the main reason I returned it as I often leave a card in the slot, usually from my camera when I'm editing photos or just using a card for personal files and keep the work ones on the laptop. Yes I can use a USB drive for the latter part, but then I don't have a card handy if I need it.

Also, does it need a special charging cable and charger? I tried plugging the cable into my Venue 11 Pro charger, and it wouldn't charge. Kind of defeats the purpose if I can't plug this into any usb charger and at least get a trickle charge from it. Would have been perfect to keep charged in the car.
