anybody know what would cause that to happen? it connected last night but it wont connect most of the time but is ALWAYS detected to be at excellent signal strength....but the status says LIMITED OR NO CONNECTIVITY weird so weird

p.s. my gf also has a t61 right next to me with the same intel wireless card and she connects right away

p.s. theres a 1 bar signal strength connection that is also being detected around my neighborhood and it can connect to that one in seconds ROFL......

    1) Disable/re-enable wireless card
    2) Remove network, then reconnect (input key again if necessary)

    Hmmm.

    Step 3) Re-install driver

Oh, and have you tried connecting to any other networks?

agree with pix. make sure you delete any profiles in your software reguardless if you use access connections or windows zero config.

If you use any anti-virus software, check for the Firewall settings.

had the same problem. i installed the latest drivers for both my wireless card and adapter then uninstalled "intel pro wireless" from Add/Remove programs. Now my computer connects immediately to any wireless connection.

Turn your router off and then back on, too.
