There are four(up two, bottom two) holes in T61's screen bezel.
Does anyone know what their function is for?

I like the way you hold your notebook
-
Good way to stress test it, eh?

Guys,
T61p 15" WUXGA is sort of heavy.....But my question is why there are four "holes" there? -
Maybe so that liquid can drain through if you ever spill anything on your screen, instead of puddling?
-
Maybe to make it a bit easier to pry off the bezel if you need to service the screen.
-
yeah wang, nice way of holding that laptop -
I think that is called the Kung Fu Laptop Grip, and not all laptops can handle it, Vaios for example
-
I was thinking it might be for lenovo specific screen protector or viewing angle limiter. like the ones made by 3m.
-
cooling inverter?
-
those are where they stick in metal slides to hold the lcd in place...
btw...i love the way you hold your screen...and a 15" too..wow...much more torque on a 15 -

I also have a 15.4" T61p AND it has the heavy 9-cell battery.
I decided to try holding my Thinkpad this way, and the screen broke!
Just kidding... it didn't hurt anythingThese are strong laptops!
