....this is the best laptop I have ever seen.

Although I do not use a laptop much except for travel...this is the best of the best.....never have to re-boot, finds wi-fi immediately if not sooner.....Had them put in an extra 1gig Ram chip for 1.5 Ram and it is lightening.....

No Chrome....no extra garbage software......Just an IMB/Lenovo that is perfect

    Thank you

    Elliot

I felt the same way after I started using a T23 ThinkPad 3 years back, it grew on me. Then I had a T42 for a while as a work notebook and I smiled every time I opened the lid to use it. Now I have an X41, same feeling :)

I can relate to what you guys are feeling. Simply opening the lid of my T43 is sheer ecstacy.

I really like the solid build, the nice keyboard, and all that, but I have to admit, the fan noise is driving me a bit crazy. I'm even thinking about sending it back because of that issue. It doesn't bother you guys?

My ibm X40 fan can be a lil noise, especially if i'm in a library right next to some one. Fortunately it never seems to last more than a few seconds then it shuts up.

I'm loving the ibm but I am a lil jealous whenever I see someone with a super small sony with xbright widescreen or a fujitsu. But then I hate the reflection on those things. So i'm never happy i guess.

It's amazing how IBM packed so much in such a small package. The current generation of T series has been out for a couple of years. The overall package hasn't changed but the CPU power and video capabilities has increased a multitude of times. IBM did a great job when they designed the T4x. Enjoy your machine.
