I've been looking into getting a new T43 with a 14" SXGA+ screen. Looking into the different configurations listed on the Visa site, I noticed that there were very similar models listed as having a 4.8lb or 5.2lb weight. I don't think that the configuration can account for the 0.4lb because they are often very similar. I think that the difference is that the newer configurations are listed as a different weight but I'm not sure if they are the lower weighted ones or the higher weighted ones. Does the extra weight hide some extra goodies? is the laptop better built? Any insights?

the 9-cell battery as opposed to 6-cell would add .4 lbs, but outside of that configuration difference there's nothing you can add that's going to tack on a near half pound and the T43 is basically exactly the same build/body weight as the T42.
