I am just wondering are there any methods to delete the partition which created by IBM for the recovery program? It's almost 5 gigs and I really think its a waste of space.

Can I just delete that partition? Do I have to backup anything? I am using XP Pro OEM anyway, and the drivers can be all found on IBM website right?

What do you guys think. Thanks !!!!

You can make a set of recovery disks through the IBM utility, and then delete the partiton.

Burn off a copy of the drivers folder and you'll have all the drivers. Sometimes you have to turn off the hidden partition in the bios.
