I'm working on a pretty serious project involving wireless. My wireless works fine whether on battery or AC as long as I am connected to an AP. However no matter how I set things, my card is powered down after about five minutes, when I am not connected. In Device Manager I have set the Do Not Power This Device Down setting.

I have also set do not power down the usb and I have also set the Lenovo power manager for wireless card High performance. I have done the same in the Vista power management system.

What else is there? Has anyone managed to keep their card powered up while on battery when not connected ?

I also had this problem on my 3000 n100.
