I ordered with the computer the 2 year extended warranty plus 2 year ThinkPad Protection. However, when I press the ThinkVantage button it says I only have 354 days left on my warranty (standard 1 year). Do I need to call anyone to make sure that my extended warranty will be honored? Or are they just that slow on updating the warranty, etc.?

    Thanks!

My last Lenovo took about two weeks before the added warranty showed.

Yeah sometimes it takes a few weeks for IBM's website to be updated with additional warranties purchased.

My W520 is showing the exact same problem (I also bought 2yr Onsite + TPP). I sent Lenovo an email about it last night and today they told me that it'll update my status in a few days to reflect on the correct warranty coverage.

Also ensure that the details on your receipt/order confirmation email are correct and that you keep them in a safe place just in case you need them to back you up in the future.

If your order details are incorrect it’s better to sort it out now rather than later.

I bought a warranty upgrade for my T420s which was delivered by email a couple of days after the order and two weeks before the computer. The email contained a link for the warranty registration (which one can only do when the computer serial number is available). The link wouldn't work for me so I forwarded the email to Lenovo support together with the model and serial number. They fixed it in a couple of days.
