I'm looking for a thick foam sleeve for my T61p, I've looked at:

    Elecom Zeroshock III ("from Shinza")
    Sumdex Impactguard
    Skooba Skin

However all of these seem to offer only minimal padding. I've heard the Zeroshock III has some memory foam built in, true? I've only seen the 1st/2nd generation without the foam and I wasn't impressed.

I'm worried about dropping the laptop more than dropping something on the laptop, and I'd like about 1/2" of foam all the way around the computer. If I don't find something soon I'm going to be doing this: http://isoglossia.com/?p=375

Thanks for the responses, after a lot of wasted time I decided on the following:
    1) Elecom ZeroShock III: The 3rd gen now has additional memory foam, so should provide good abrasion and some minimal shock protection
    2) Skooba Satchel 2.0: Has "air cell" padding, padding doesn't cover whole of side surface but that's more than made up for by the ZeroShock, air cell padding on bottom and sides will provide good shock protection. Let's hope the T61p in the ZeroShock will fit.

This setup doesn't have a ton of protection on the top two corners, which hopefully are the "least likely" to be dropped on. I also liked the Brenthaven Duo II SC and the Booq Folee XM, both provide good overall protection and function. Their downfall is the all-black business-look, I wanted something a little cooler.

The Waterfield is probably what I'll be getting for my T61p (when it shows up), I already have a decent bag, but just want a sleeve for it, as well.

It is not a sleeve at all, but i have to strongly recommend the Zero Halliburton line of products as we are talking about maximum protection here. I bought a DZ-5 myself for fun at first, but now i use it every day. Got a couple of buddies who are in the offshore industry, one of them was in a helicopter crash which pretty much wrecked everything in the luggage except his bag and notebook.

Should be able of withstanding a thermonuclear war, as long as you keep your ass of ground zero.
