The site states that the T60 starts at 1.1" thin. But I just saw someone post their specs and it says: Dimensions (WxDxH) 13.1 in x 10.6 in x 1.4 in
1.4" - I just bought a Dell 6400 and it is 1.4" and that is the only thing I don't like about it (other than weight).
What is the actual thickness??
I am thinking of shipping my Dell back and getting the T60....

If you have a Staples Store in your area check them out. I find they are thick enough without being to bulky. I saw a 15.4" Z61m at my local Staples and they don't look or feel cheap.

Even if there's no real thickness or weight difference between the 6400 and T60, go with the T60 anyway
It's a lot better

The T60, especially the 14inch model, is quite thin.
-
Yes it is quite thin. Perhaps it was just a typo.
-
My T60 measures 31mm thick -> ~1.2 inches. That does not include the feet.
-
Actually 1.1 is probably for the 14.1" size
Thickness
