    The site states that the T60 starts at 1.1" thin. But I just saw someone post their specs and it says: Dimensions (WxDxH) 13.1 in x 10.6 in x 1.4 in

    1.4" - I just bought a Dell 6400 and it is 1.4" and that is the only thing I don't like about it (other than weight).

    What is the actual thickness??

    I am thinking of shipping my Dell back and getting the T60....

    If you have a Staples Store in your area check them out. I find they are thick enough without being to bulky. I saw a 15.4" Z61m at my local Staples and they don't look or feel cheap. ;)

    Even if there's no real thickness or weight difference between the 6400 and T60, go with the T60 anyway :D It's a lot better

    The T60, especially the 14inch model, is quite thin.

    My T60 measures 31mm thick -> ~1.2 inches. That does not include the feet.

    Maybe Lenovo had a book on top of it when they measured the laptop :D

    Actually 1.1 is probably for the 14.1" size
