I recently returned by Lenovo N300 because of thin gray lines moving up and down the screen at certain times and on certain colors more than others.

When I receieved my replacement, it didn't take long for me to notice the exact same problem. I did not purchase an extended warranty plan with Circuit City, so am I basically screwed now that I am out of time? I do relise it was a dumb move not to purchase the warranty. Or can Lenovo help me out without it costing me anything.

Also, would there be a way for me to fix this? Perhaps something that doesnt require me taking anythig appart? I already tried installing new bios and video drivers.

Just a little more detail: The lines move up and down and are very light (but noticable). They are only on certain colors even though I can't really say what they are....mostly gray I guess. Sometimes tan, sometimes I can notice the line son any color. Any ideas?
