My video card is ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 – 64 and I am seeing a black and red film on the back ground of the LCD (on the top).
Does that have something to do with the ATI catalyst? This is my first laptop with video card. I haven’t changed my native resolution which is Display 14.1 TFT active matrix 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) -24 bit (16.7 million colors)

My configuration is Thinkpad T60 2007-C4U
    HDD 80 Gig
    RAM 1 Gig
