    hi all

    i need to know, what is the better:
    Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Mini-PCI Express Adapter
    or
    ThinkPad 11a/b/g Wireless LAN MiniPCI Express Adapter

    they all the same price.

    so what do i have to buy?

    If you get the Intel then you machine counts as Centrino, without it I dont think you get the cool "Centrino" Sticker on your laptop...

    I have the Intel 3945ABG and its great. Hardly ever drops a connection and has great range, couldn't be happier with it. I say go for the Intel.

    the atheros based ibm is actually stronger signal wise than the intel. The intel is more efficient with power consumption.

    Are you planning on using this system w/ Linux? If you are be careful which you choose because some drivers are more mature than others.
