    When I put an order for Thinkpad P1, Lenovo recommended accessories including three adapters

    ThinkPad 230W AC Adapter Slim Tip, Model name: 4X20E75111
    ThinkPad 170W AC Adapter Slim Tip, Model name: 4X20E50574
    ThinkPad 135W AC Adapter Slim Tip, Model name: 4X20E50558,

    Thinkpad P1 itself comes with the 135W AC Adapter. I have a 4X20E50574 (170W) adapter from a friend, and I would like to know whether it works with P1. Just wanted to get input from folks here.

    If it's the same tip it should work regardless, unless the wattage is too low it will give you a notification or run the computer in reduced performance mode.
