This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Thinking of buying a refurbished ThinkPad A30.

    The specs:
    IBM ThinkPad A30 P3 1.13GHZ 20GB 256MB DVD Modem Network 14inch LCD TFT

    If anyone can give me some feedback on this model, pros, cons, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

    Certain types had power source issues and not being able to charge battery. Its and old system that you should not pay more than $50 bucks for.
