This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Thinkpad T61p 14"
    - 2.2Ghz T7500 Core2Duo
    - 2GB PC5300 RAM
    - 160GB 5400RPM HDD
    - nVidia FX570M @128mb
    - 14.1 SXGA+
    - Factory install XP Pro with all bloatware still intact ~ approx 77 processes running
    - powermizer currently enabled (what is this?)

    with factory installed 570m drivers:
    3D Mark2005 - 4485

    going to try modded 163.16 drivers now........

    Ok, with 163.16 Xp 32 bit driver from laptopvideo2go.com my new result for 3D Mark2005 is actually much LOWER: 2749

    I'm not sure why. What should I do now? Which driver to install?
